Our History:
For nearly 100 years, our Bruno Family name has been Remodeling the Residential community of Pittsburgh and Southwestern Pennsylvania.

In 1922, Anthony Bruno, a 14 year old orphan, assisted a local contractor using a mule to pull their trucks out of a Pittsburgh mud hole. At that moment George Geyer Contracting hired the young boy and began teaching him the carpentry trade. Later, Anthony instilled in his son, Bob, the core values of hard work, honesty and quality craftsmanship from his generation. Bob Bruno began his general contracting business in 1964 and started remodeling Pittsburgh homes. Incorporated in 1995, as Certified Home Remodelers, the company has carried on the Bruno family traditions with Bob’s son and grandchildren growing with the business. |

As Certified Home Remodelers, We have completed over 6,500 projects, including the installation of over 30,000 windows, plus thousands of projects of vinyl siding, roofing, custom decks, bathrooms, kitchens, room additions, awnings, patio enclosures, fencing, doors, game rooms and various customer construction projects.
Our principles of honesty, integrity, quality service and customer satisfaction are the foundation on which we have built this company from a 'Mom & Pop shop' to over 3 million dollars in annual sales. Every customer, large or small, is our most important customer and we will continue to strive to earn the confidence which that customer expressed by choosing Certified Home Remodelers to turn their ideas into a finished project.

Certified Home Remodelers carries both general liability insurance and Workman's Compensation covering all employees, plus an umbrella policy to cover any worker on a company project.
