Founded in 1986 as Robert A. Bruno General Contracting, the company served the Pittsburgh market in all phases of interior and exterior design and remodeling. It was incorporated in 1995 as Certified Home Remodelers when awarded the sole distributorship to market the Certainteed line of windows and patio doors in the Greater Pittsburgh metropolitan area from Viwinco of Philadelphia, PA.

Certified Home Remodelers has completed over 6500 projects, including the installation of over 30,000 windows, plus numerous jobs of vinyl siding, roofing, custom decks, bathrooms, kitchens, room additions, awnings, patio enclosures, fencing, doors, game rooms, and various customer construction projects.

Certified Home Remodelers employs full-time in-house experienced carpenters and installers, plus a variety of specialty subcontractors to insure all material and workmanship is set to the highest standards. We are also proud to be chosen as an Alcoa Mastic Quality Contractor. We are a member of both the Builders Association of Metropolitan Pittsburgh and the Better Business Bureau.

We are enrolled in the BBB Care Program, which guarantees the consumer mediation or binding arbitration.
